Teeth and Bowling
Jul. 20th, 2017 08:03 amYesterday morning, I had a dentist appointment. Had a filling on tooth #2 redone. The tooth has been sensitive for a while and finally gotten it taken care of. Interestingly, the top of my mouth was only slightly sore after the Novocaine wore off. That was a welcome relief compared to previous dental work.
Later on in the evening I bowled with my summer bowling league. I did pretty well too. Well for me, anyway. I bowled a 347 for three games as follows: 120, 120, and 107. I don't know how I managed to bowl two 120 games in a row but I did. I should have done better than a 107 in my last game but the pins weren't favoring me for that game. I am glad I broke 100 because by the 8th frame I only had a 73 and didn't think I was going to get to 100. Years ago, I used to have 130 average. These days, I only have like 106 average. I guess that's what happens when you get old and hadn't bowled in ages prior to joining this summer league. At least with my relatively good night last, my average ought to go up and my handicap go down by a bit.
